Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

As a consumer who shops at Alesethioti AB, you are covered by the Swedish laws of Consumer Purchase Act, the Consumer Services Act and the Act on distance contracts and contracts outside business premises.

1. Applicability

Alesethioti’s General Terms and Conditions for Product Delivery – Consumer apply to orders by private individuals via Alesethioti, from and including the above date and replace all previously published terms and conditions of sale by Alesethioti. For business customers, the General Terms and Conditions for Product Delivery – Business apply.

2. Product Information

The goods presented on Alesethioti’s website are Alesethioti’s regular range. In the event of any difference between terms, product information or prices stated on Alesethioti’s website and in other communications, the information on the website takes precedence unless mandatory law stipulates otherwise.

General information about the products on Alesethioti’s website (including information about a product’s properties and function) is provided on the respective product page. Alesethioti refers to the product manual, alternatively to the respective manufacturer for more information.

3. Prices and Shipping

Current prices for products are provided on Alesethioti’s website, which is updated in real time. The prices are stated in SEK and include VAT.

Alesethioti reserves the right to change offered prices without prior notification. Between Alesethioti and the customer, the agreed price applies unless otherwise specifically agreed.

Shipping is added to all deliveries. The total shipping cost is calculated when ordering, where it is clear which shipping methods are selectable as well as costs for the various shipping methods.

4. Payment terms

As a customer, you are aware of and accept that making a purchase on Alesethioti’s website entails payment responsibility.

Payment can be made by card or direct payment via internet banking. You can also choose payment against invoice or partial payment/account. These payments are administered by Klarna Bank AB (publ), which is responsible for credit assessment, notification and receipt of payment. Note that the claim in these cases will be transferred to Klarna Bank AB (publ) and payment with liberating effect can therefore only be made to Klarna Bank AB (publ) on the account specified on the invoice. When paying via invoice/part payment, a credit check may be carried out.

Payment by card can also be made directly via the website. In individual cases and in accordance with a separate agreement with you, other payment options may also occur.

In the event of late payment, a fee for payment reminder and late payment interest will be charged according to Klarna Bank AB (publ)’s terms and conditions for invoice and partial payment/account.

5. Order and order confirmation

After you have placed the desired products in the shopping cart, you have the option to proceed with the order. In the order flow, it is possible to choose, among other things, the delivery method and payment method. At the end of the order flow, a summary of your order and the total amount to be paid, including shipping, will be displayed. If you choose to pay with Klarna, you can then click on “Go to payment” and in the next step choose how you want to pay and confirm your purchase by clicking on “Pay purchase”. If you choose to pay by card directly at checkout, you will be asked to fill in your card details and confirm your order by clicking on “Complete purchase”. Regardless of the payment method, a binding order (offer) has been created for you when you have clicked on “Pay for purchase”, meaning that you undertake to purchase selected products.

After placing the order, a confirmation of receipt titled “Thank you for your order” is sent via e-mail. This confirmation of receipt contains information about the order. In connection with the order being dispatched from Alesethioti’s warehouse, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail titled “Your order is on its way”. Binding agreements come into being when the order confirmation is sent to you.

By making a purchase at Alesethioti, you accept these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. By accepting the terms, you commit to comply with the terms in their entirety and confirm that you have read Alesethioti’s privacy policy as set out below.

Sales are not made to minors or customers under the age of 18.

6. Change or cancellation of orders

You have the opportunity to change your order free of charge until the package is dispatched by Alesethioti, i.e. until you receive an order confirmation. Changes can be made by e-mail: [email protected]. After your order has been dispatched, changes cannot be made. Please note that if you pay in advance for your order, no changes can be made after the payment has been made.

As a customer, you have the option of cancelling your entire order without charge until the shipment has left Alesethioti’s warehouse. Cancellation must be notified to Alesethioti by e-mail to [email protected]. Please note that your cancellation will not go through until Alesethioti has confirmed that the cancellation has been completed. If the order has had time to be dispatched by Alesethioti, you may be charged the cost of unredeemed packages (previously SEK 313 including VAT) as well as any other costs Alesethioti incurred due to the cancellation.

7. Delivery

An order regarding a product that is in stock that is received before 4:00 p.m. on a weekday is usually dispatched the same day.

Delivery time stated as 1-2 days in the online store means that Alesethioti can normally send the item within 2 days of ordering. Stock status “Order item” means that the item may have a longer delivery time. If a delivery is delayed, Alesethioti will notify you of this by sending a message to the email address you provided. Information is also provided about a new delivery time. You have the right to cancel the purchase free of charge if you do not accept the new proposed delivery time by contacting Alesethioti at [email protected].

Your order is delivered to the nearest delivery point if the package weighs less than 20 kg. Parcels weighing between 20-35 kg are left at the postal terminal or haulage company. Pallets or goods weighing more than 35 kg are left at the heavy goods terminal.

Note that goods cannot be collected from Alesethioti. As a general rule, there are no partial deliveries, but Alesethioti reserves the right to partially deliver orders if necessary (e.g. if one of the ordered products is out of stock at the retailer). If you live along a rural post carrier line, you cannot order goods with Home Package.

If packages are to be redeemed, you will receive information via notification about where and when the package is to be redeemed. Alesethioti bears the risk of the goods until the goods are delivered to you.

Delivery can take place to addresses within the EU. For all deliveries outside the EU, the customer must take care of the handling of import tax and customs duties that may be added.

Unredeemed packages are charged a fee of SEK 500 (including VAT) to cover Alesethioti’s costs for shipping and administration. Please note that if you regret your purchase and wish to return the item, you must first collect the item and then return it in accordance with these terms.

8. Right of withdrawal

When purchasing goods from Alesethioti, you as a consumer have, in certain cases, the right to withdraw from a purchase (right of withdrawal) in accordance with the law (2005:59) on distance contracts and contracts outside business premises. This means that you have the right to cancel your purchase by leaving or sending a message to Alesethioti within 14 days from the day you received the ordered item (the cancellation period).

You have the right to examine the goods to the extent necessary to determine the properties or function of the goods. However, you may be obliged to compensate Alesethioti for the item’s decrease in value if the item has been used or handled to a greater extent than was necessary to determine its properties or function. Such price deduction may amount to the total price of the goods and may be deducted from the price to be refunded as set out below.

Excluded from the right of withdrawal are computer programs and sound and image recordings where the sealing/sealing has been broken. Sealing also refers to technical sealing (e.g. serial number). Software that is downloaded and provision has begun is also excluded from the right of withdrawal if you have consented to the commencement of provision and have thereby agreed that there is no right of withdrawal.

If you want to use the right of withdrawal, you as a customer should contact Alesethioti, preferably via my account/order history on Alesethioti’s website and there create a case to obtain a return number. The purpose of the return number is to facilitate identification and administration of the repurchase. You can also notify Alesethioti of withdrawal from purchase by filling in and mailing the Swedish Consumer Agency’s form to Alesethioti. You can find the form here. The form is sent to Alesethioti AB at the address given under the heading “Contact us” below.

When exercising the right of withdrawal, the goods must be returned to Alesethioti within 14 days from the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal being given to Alesethioti.

The amount you paid for the product, including the original shipping cost, will be refunded no later than 14 days from the receipt of your notice of exercise of the right of withdrawal, provided that Alesethioti has received the product in return within this time, or a receipt that the product has been returned. Reimbursement may be made in a different way than the way in which the payment was made.

9. Open purchase

For goods from Alesethioti’s regular range, Alesethioti accepts returns against a full refund of the amount you paid for the goods for up to 30 days after the invoice date. To claim open purchase, the product must not have been opened, used or destroyed. Open purchase does not apply for food items where the product quality cannot be guaranteed after return.

10. Complaint

You should examine all goods carefully on receipt to ensure that they are free of defects and in working order and that they have the expected characteristics.

If you wish to claim an error in an ordered item, you must within a reasonable time from the error being discovered, or should have been discovered, contact Alesethioti. Complaints may not be made later than 3 years after receipt of an item.

A complaint is made via my account/order history on Alesethioti’s website, where you create a case to obtain a return number. The purpose of the return number is to facilitate identification and administration of the repurchase. Note that obtaining a return number does not mean that the complaint has been approved. The product must then be returned to Alesethioti. Your return number is valid for 14 days, during which time the product should have arrived at Alesethioti.

When the item has been returned and the complaint approved, Alesethioti compensates you in accordance with the rules in the Consumer Purchase Act (2022:260) by repairing the existing product, by a new equivalent product or by you recovering your payment for the product (including any other costs). Reimbursement is made as soon as possible and no later than within 14 days from when Alesethioti received the goods from you and established that you had the right to complain about your purchase.

Alesethioti checks/tests submitted goods in accordance with the error description you provided, it is therefore an advantage if it is as detailed as possible. If Alesethioti determines that the product does not have a fault that is covered by Alesethioti’s fault liability (for example, due to external influences), a fee for fault finding and shipping will be charged to cover Alesethioti’s costs for the return.

11. Returns

Returns (due to the exercise of the right of withdrawal, in the event of a complaint or open purchase) should be sent back in the original packaging or in other packaging suitable for the product, and well packed in outer packaging approved by PostNord (for example, brown corrugated cardboard). Goods delivered on a pallet (LCD TV, Plasma TV and similar) must, if returned, be loaded on a pallet to avoid damage to the goods during transport. Any transport damage as a result of defective packaging will be charged to you as a customer.

When using the right of withdrawal, open purchase and complaint, you bear the cost of return and you are responsible for the product until it reaches Alesethioti. When returning with an address label sent by Alesethioti (which is obtained when contacting Alesethioti regarding the right of withdrawal, open purchase and complaint), Alesethioti bears the risk for the item from the time you leave it at the post office. Alesethioti has the right to deduct from the refund if the customer is to bear the return cost according to the above. However, if the complaint is approved, you will receive compensation for the return cost. For detailed information on returns, contact customer service.

12. Transport damage

It is important that you ensure that your package is undamaged when you receive it. If your package is damaged, ask the agent to make a note of the damage upon delivery or notify that you do not want to receive the package due to the damage. Any transport damage must be reported to Alesethioti at [email protected]. If you discover the damage only after you have opened the package, you complain to Alesethioti as above.

13. Warranty

The warranty period differs between different products, which is specified in the product information for each product. Warranty matters are handled differently depending on the nature of the product. In some cases, warranty matters are handled by the manufacturer or by his authorized workshop. In other cases, warranty matters are handled by Alesethioti directly. Feel free to contact us for information about the warranty procedures for the product you are interested in before purchasing if you are unsure.

14. Liability for errors

Alesethioti’s liability as a result of errors in goods, delay or damage (both direct and indirect) is limited to what follows from these General Terms and Conditions and the Consumer Purchase Act (2022:260). However, additional rights for you as a customer may follow from the respective manufacturer’s own end-customer-directed guarantees.

Alesethioti shall not be liable under any circumstances for indirect, consequential or any other damage resulting from the impossibility or difficulty of using computers or information that is not due to inadequate instructions, loss of information or loss of profit in connection with the use of information or software available on Alesethioti’s website. Alesethioti is also not responsible for errors in digital content or digital service if you do not cooperate with Alesethioti to a reasonable extent when troubleshooting.

15. Technical support

For technical support and user support, Alesethioti has the right to refer you to the respective product manufacturer and, where applicable, to the paid support of third-party companies. Telephone numbers for the respective manufacturers/suppliers are listed on Alesethioti’s website under the Customer Service/Who do I contact tab. Please note that support and error reporting may be in English for some manufacturers and in some cases support is only provided via e-mail and websites. Alesethioti cannot provide support on products.
